Homefront’s editors spent a couple of days checking out Montreal last month. From festivals and special arts events to riding the La Grande Roue Ferris wheel and wandering down the cobblestone streets of the old city at twilight, we just love the city’s joie de vivre.

Our advice: Start with the Notre-Dame Basilica. Its stained glass portrays the city’s history.
