Fish Tales and Nibbles

hf-dine3It’s not very often that a restaurant draws me in with its name, but pure curiosity found me stepping off Mayfair’s Berkeley Square to see what the fishy fuss was all about.

Taking me back to days gone by with elegant mid-century glamour and stylish opulence, the high-octane vibe is all but contagious. From the snazzy wait-staff (who are unique and dressed to kill) to the friendly boys at the bar, Sexy Fish has earned its place as one of London’s hot spots.

hf-dine2Designed by the Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and decorated with art by Damien Hirst, Frank Gehry and Michael Roberts, Sexy Fish is home to a dazzling bar, sizzling cocktails and one of the world’s grandest Japanese whisky collections. In the Coral Reef Room a private dining room on the lower ground floor it’s hard not to be mesmerized by two of the largest coral-reef tanks in the world.

Sexy Fish is a great spot for lunch, dinner or late-night nibbles. Chefs serve up a tempting selection of Japanese-inspired tasties: Sushi, sashimi, seafood, and fish or meat cooked on a Robata grill. Open seven days a week until late. But only in London. Pity!
